The Role
Working within a small but busy planning team, you will assist in managing a varied portfolio of planning applications across both strategic and immediate sites of differing scale and complexity. The role provides exposure to the full development lifecycle, including planning policy, site promotion, development management, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Assess land development opportunities against company criteria
* Provide internal advice on planning matters
* Prepare and submit planning applications
* Attend meetings with stakeholders throughout the planning process
* Manage ongoing planning matters and submit information to discharge conditions
Experience Required
* Degree or Masters in Planning or Real Estate (RTPI or RICS accredited preferred, but relevant degrees also considered)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Proactive with the ability to work independently
* Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines
* Professional and confident when working with colleagues at all levels
