Junior Paediatric Occupational Therapist
LondonSalary: £35000 - £40000 DOE per annum.
Our well established client is looking for a Junior Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join their team on a permanent basis.
Main duties and responsibilities:
* Identifying the set of activities and motivations that might help patients work towards their goals.
* Helping children with disabilities perform different activities such as dressing, eating and walking.
* Educating the patients’ families and friends about the right way to accommodate and care for them.
* Recommending special equipment and, as well as instructing patients on how to use the equipment.
* Documenting and assessing the patient’s activities and progress, as well as creating review reports.
* Seeing up to 7 children a day (45mins sessions).
Qualifications and skills:
* HCPC Registered.
* Paediatric Occupational Therapist experience (2 years preferred).
* Sensory Integration experience - certification not required but some experience essential.
* Excellent communication skills.
