About the Role: Role
As the Management Accountant you’ll be responsible for accurateP&L and Balance sheet postings and reconciliations for Opex across the UK,always achieving or beating reporting deadlines.
Day to day you’ll provide consistent, simple, and accurate monthlymanagement information and reporting to allow senior management to monitorexpenditure performance, understand variances, and support them in takingactions.
You’ll be responsible for identifying and driving processimprovements, which includes standardising processes across the group andincreasing efficiency throughout the month end process, with the aim of improvingcontrol over costs and suggesting and supporting action plans to improveperformance.
You’ll develop and maintain regular, high-quality communication with thebusiness’s non-finance stakeholders in order to ensure key information flowsoccur on a timely basis, are well understood, and are refined where necessary.You’ll also ensure information flows include business data required for financeand finance reports required by the business.
About you
You’ll be a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant. Ideally, you’ll have experiencein an accounting in a medium/large company environment and experience withfinancial systems and a demonstrable commitment to simplification andautomation of processes. Competent with MS Office skills, especially Excel,PowerPoint, and Word.
You’ll be solutions focused and will be able to clearly identifyprocess improvements and will be comfortable challenging the status quo todrive different results. Attention to detail and a comprehensive understandingof accounting and financial reporting is essential.
