About the Role We are seeking experienced and compassionate Carers to join our team. This role requires individuals who can deliver high-quality, person-centred care in line with UK legislation, best practice guidance, and organisational policies. You must already hold an up-to-date Level 2 qualification in Adult Social Care (or equivalent) from one of the following awarding organisations: Highfield Qualifications City & Guilds Gateway Qualifications NCFE NOCN Pearson VTCT RoSPA Innovate Awarding NQUAL (Proof of certification will be required.) Key Responsibilities Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care in line with care plans. Support individuals with: Personal care Medication administration Moving and handling Nutrition and hydration Emotional wellbeing and companionship Promote dignity, independence, and choice. Accurately record care provided using care documentation systems. Identify and escalate safeguarding or welfare concerns. Work in accordance with: The Care Act 2014 The Mental Capacity Act 2005 The Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards Maintain professional boundaries at all times. Attend team meetings and mandatory refresher training. Essential Requirements ? Minimum 12 months experience in adult social care ? Up-to-date Level 2 qualification (see approved awarding bodies above) ? Strong understanding of safeguarding and person-centred care ? Good written and verbal communication skills ? Ability to work independently and as part of a team ? Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) ?
