Junior Surveillance Mechanical EngineerRate: Market Rate Duration: 6 months + Extensions Location: Hinkley Point C - Bridgwater, SomersetAs a mechanical surveillance engineer, you will join EIRA team in charge of the surveillance of the manufacturing and installation of nuclear equipment for worldwide power plants. It is a rewarding experience that starts with comprehensive training and tutoring, with the objective of good respect of the contractual technical requirements, the manufacturing and installation follow-up of equipment's with the highest quality and safety level. The surveillance engineer is a key player during the installation phases as an in-the-field representative.Key Skills and experiences:Min 1 year experience with technical degree qualificationManufacturing processes knowledge (welding, foundry, forge..)Destructive (chemical or mechanical testing) and non destructive testing (PT, UT, RT, EC, MT) knowledgeQuality fundamentals knowledgeAbility to read and understand the technical engineering documents of schemeFluent English (spoken and written) QualificationsMaster's degree qualification in Science, with specialisation in Metallurgy, Material, Advanced Mechanics or general mechanical engineering.Knowledge in welding or non destructive testing - desirable.Additional informationTraining: several months training periods on various localisation in France and Europe.Some out of hours working will be required This is an exciting opportunity, apply to hear more.
