About the Role:
Due to continued growth, we are recruiting multiple CNC Programmer / Setter / Operators to join our clients well established team in Birmingham. We are looking for individuals with experience across a range of CNC machinery, including milling and turning, with exposure to various control systems such as Mazak, Haas, Fanuc, and Hurco.
Key Responsibilities:
* Program, set, and operate CNC milling machines and lathes
* Work with control systems including Mazak, Haas, Fanuc, and Hurco
* Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
* Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds for different materials
* Produce high-quality components to tight tolerances
* Conduct first-off inspections and in-process quality checks
* Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues
* Maintain machines and ensure a safe working environment
Requirements:
* Proven experience in CNC programming, setting, and operating
* Strong knowledge of milling and/or turning processes
* Experience with one or more control systems: Mazak, Haas, Fanuc, Hurco
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Understanding of tooling, materials, and machining techniques
* High attention to detail and quality standards
