Job Title: Behaviour Support/Mentor
Location: Wakefield (WF4)
Pay rate: £460 -£600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate

GSL Education are welcoming applications for a dedicated Behaviour Support/Mentor who can make a positive difference in the lives of learners, with opportunities available across Wakefield schools situated within the WF4 area.
As a Behaviour Support/Mentor, you will promote positive behaviour, build confidence, and support students’ personal and academic growth within a safe, motivating environment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one or small group support for students requiring behavioural guidance.
* Encourage positive behaviour and social skills within the classroom and wider school environment.
* Support students in setting goals, managing challenges, and improving engagement.
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff to implement strategies for learning and behaviour.
* Maintain records of interventions and monitor student progress.
Requirements of Behaviour Support/Mentor:
* Previous experience supporting young people in education or mentoring roles.
* Strong communication, empathy, and behaviour management skills.
* Ability to motivate and support students with varying needs.
* A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
