Clarus Education is recruiting for a skilled and motivated Plumbing Lecturer to join a well-established further education provider in Cambridge on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced plumbing professional or qualified lecturer who is passionate about delivering high-quality technical education.
We are seeking a confident and industry-experienced Plumbing Lecturer to deliver both practical and theoretical learning to students working towards recognised qualifications in plumbing and related trades.
The Role – Plumbing Lecturer
As a Plumbing Lecturer, you will:
• Deliver engaging lessons across plumbing qualifications
• Teach practical workshop sessions and underpinning theory
• Plan, prepare and assess learner work in line with curriculum standards
• Support students in developing industry-relevant skills and knowledge
• Maintain a safe and professional workshop environment
• Track progress and provide constructive feedback to learners
• Contribute to curriculum planning and team collaboration
Candidate Requirements
The successful Plumbing Lecturer will:
• Have substantial industry experience in plumbing
• Ideally hold a teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards one)
• Have experience delivering training or education (desirable)
• Demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills
• Be committed to supporting learner success
• Be available for an ASAP start
