Our charity shops are essential in raising vital funds for Birmingham Hospice. The generosity of our donors and shoppers is crucial in supporting our community, allowing more local individuals with terminal diagnoses to receive the specialised end-of-life care they need.
Birmingham Hospice is looking for Bank Relief Assistant Shop Managers (RASMs) to join its Retail Team to provide assistance and area cover as and when required in our shops throughout the Birmingham area.
As RASM you will:
· Assist the shop manager to run the shop, covering their days off and holidays
· Own the daily operations in the absence of the Shop Manager
· Achieve income targets by maximising sales & donations
· Support the Shop Manager with accepting, sorting, pricing, steaming & displaying goods for sale to maximise income within agreed guidelines
· Provide the highest level of customer service to donors and customers
· Effectively lead by example the shop volunteers, respectfully supporting their usual tasks and
commitments to meet the shops KPI requirements developing a positive team spirit
No retail experience is required as we can train you; we just require the drive and determination to do a good job.
