Overview

Responsibilities
* Manage your own caseload while contributing to larger and more complex projects.
* Prepare and submit planning applications, draft and review planning statements, and develop strategies to achieve successful outcomes.
* Collaborate with colleagues and clients in a proactive, client-focused way.
* Mentor junior colleagues and support their development.
* Take ownership of work, contribute ideas, and build strong client relationships.
* Operate within a hybrid working environment with flexibility to manage your time effectively as part of a supportive team.
Skills and Experience
* Experience in a planning consultancy or local planning authority is a must.
* RTPI membership or willingness to work towards.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work well under pressure.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
* Experience mentoring or managing junior colleagues.
Salary and Benefits
* Salary £38,000 - £45,000 DOE
* Flexible hybrid working
* 25 days annual leave plus additional closure over Christmas
