An excellent opportunity for a Safety Coherency Engineer has arisen at our Devonport site in HMNB(Devonport), The Safety Coherency Engineer will work closely alongside similar co-located representation from our industrial partners in the UK Submarine Enterprise to deliver future Facility Safety Cases for infrastructure at the Naval Base.

The Safety Coherency Team supports RRSL Services and successful applicants will be Engineers within the Safety Capability Taxonomy.

The SCT seeks to optimise and improve facility provision of services and engineering demanded to support operational boat programmes. As a conduit for NSRP TA information, the role requires innovative thinking for pragmatic solutions and understanding to exploit the TA approved information and latest analysis.

What you will be doing
With this attractive opportunity you will get a chance to:
* liaise closely with industry partners to support timely production of evidence
* Ensure appropriateness of site claims on NSRP TA information.
* Acts as the site’s point of contact to Raynesway based SQEP.

* Experience Applying Modern Methodologies in Safety Cases
* Understanding of the relationship between plant and site safety
* Good knowledge of the NRP Safety Case
* Ideally experience writing /assessing civil Nuclear Safety Cases
