What are we looking for
At Cosentino () we are looking for a Sales Administrative to join our Distribution Center located in Livingston. The Centers are an example of Cosentino’s total commitment to its clients, providing them with exclusive and high-quality service. The Centers combine the functions of (a) warehouse, (b) brand and product showroom, and (c) sales network.
What you will do
- Working in a fast-paced environment.
- Verifying orders, including customers' personal information and payment details.
- Assist with system order entry when needed, as well as customer delivery schedules.
- Perform general filing duties and maintain an organized record for documentation, physically and electronically
- Assist in keying system data entries to ensure the operations of the overall warehouse and logistic activities are in order
- Requires working on email communication and liaising with customers and Headquarters
- Prepare appropriate documentation for loading and unloading trucks and containers.
- Preparation of Delivery Orders daily, update delivery status, print Delivery Orders for next day’s delivery
- Provide administration support including handling calls, filing, photocopying, issuing invoices, delivery orders and purchase orders
- Assist in handling day-to-day operations within the logistics and administrative functions
- Responsible for end-to-end logistics solutions to achieve required on-time pickup and delivery of goods
- Keeping track and monitoring of incoming and outgoing shipments as well as proactively preparing for upcoming shipments including timeline planning
- Organize and maintain delivery schedule daily with efficiency route planning.
- Liaise and co-ordinate with shipping agency / operations / sales / customers on delivery schedule to ensure smooth and on-time deliveries with complete paperwork updates
- Perform stock take, stock monitoring, update stock list and preparation of monthly reports related to job function
- Perform loading and unloading, pick, labeling and packing duties for delivery and storage of goods and other related activities
- Maintain a safe working area ensuring that Health and Safety processes and procedures are met.
- Using forklifts, hand carts, or pallet jacks to load, unload, move, stack, and arrange merchandise accordingly.
- Strategically storing merchandise to maximize storage space within the warehouse.
- Perform any administrative and warehouse duties as assigned by your manager.
What you need to succeed
Experience:
-At least 3 years in a similar role
-High level of English
-Any further language such as Spanish would help to execute internal/external communications, however, is not a must
Background:
-Completed High School plus Professional Training degree.
-Further education would be an advantage.
Knowledge:
-Fundamentals (basic functions) on computing: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer
-Strong SAP user knowledge is a must
-Be knowledgeable of the construction industry as a plus.
Others:
-Excellent communications skills (both written and verbal).
-Demonstrated ability to interact and build value-based relationships with customers.
