They will prepare and deliver the Reliability and Maintenance (RME) launch plan for new sites as well as new equipment installations in legacy sites, and subsequently support the RME field team in launch execution. The role focuses on safety, equipment uptime, efficiency, cost management, quality, customer satisfaction, and profitability. Key responsibilities

* Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle for new launches and new equipment installations in legacy sites, including requirements gathering, planning, risk mitigation, and successful deployment.
* End-to-end ownership for large-scale engineering projects (planning, design, installation, commissioning and qualification, launch support).
* Assess and communicate project status, drive escalations on potential risks and delays across multiple teams.
* Collaborate with Field Engineering, RME, Design & Construction, and operations teams to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
* Develop and implement standardized project management methodologies and best practices.
* Drive strategic planning and resource allocation across the portfolio.
* Develop Business Continuity and Risk Mitigation plans with site RME teams to enable a seamless handover from Construction or Field Engineering.
* Support the expansion and execution of the RME qualification process, including vendor management and feedback.
* Drive and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives with Design, Engineering, RME, Procurement and Safety partners.

About the team

The ELM team oversees the transfer of assets (MHE, Base Build, Emerging Tech) to the RME teams, working closely with Project Delivery Teams (e.g., GES, TES, MSP, AR) across Customer Fulfillment (CF), Amazon Transportation Systems (ATS), Amazon Logistics (AMZL), and Amazon Grocery Logistics (AGL). Supporting regions include North America, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa, Australia, and engagement for standardization with India/Japan. ELM aims to deliver a seamless, efficient building experience from the RME perspective, starting from project launch. Goals include minimizing downtime, increasing equipment availability, ensuring RME technician readiness, achieving accessible maintenance, ensuring initial spare parts availability at the right cost, and coordinating external maintenance services. The focus is on aligning people, processes, and resources to create a "perfect" building experience from the RME standpoint.

Qualifications

* Experience in program or project management including delivery of cross-functional projects.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to navigate ambiguity and make data-driven decisions autonomously.
* Proven record of excellent communication skills and experience managing multiple projects at once.
