Position
The Podiatry Service within The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a full‑time HCPC Registered Podiatrist with sufficient postgraduate experience. You will join a friendly, forward‑looking team committed to delivering a full range of podiatric interventions to the highest standards.
Location and Working Modes
Based in the community, the role involves work in Health Centres and patients’ homes. Applicants must be able to commute to meet the needs of the role.
Caseload Focus
The developing podiatry caseload focuses on patients who are medically at risk or have a high podiatric need, with a complex variety of needs.
Responsibilities
* Assess, diagnose, develop and implement individual podiatric care plans for patients with a variety of clinical needs, including acute and chronic neuropathies, chronic diseases, vascular problems, wound management, nail pathologies and musculo‑skeletal (MSK) problems.
* Work within all areas of the department and manage a caseload in each specialism.
* Deliver high‑quality foot care autonomously both as part of a team and as a lone worker in domiciliary settings.
* Use motivation and empowerment skills to enter partnerships of care and achieve goals with patients.
Qualifications and Experience
Full‑time HCPC Registered Podiatrist with sufficient postgraduate experience.
