Beamery are hiring for a hands on IT Manager, you will be responsible for building, maintaining and running a lean IT department supporting our teams with all their IT requirements, building and supporting in house office IT and supporting users with IT support requests.. You will be in charge of helping plan, execute, and maintain all IT components in Beamery's UK office ; as well as our remote employee team. Whilst this role, currently has no direct reports, we may look to expand the team in future WHAT YOU WILL DO AT BEAMERY Provide vision and leadership in all aspects of IT delivery and IT strategy Take responsibility for daily IT requirements across the company Lead IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems, infrastructure, and services Monitor and further develop the existing IT infrastructure aligning with current and future business requirements and goals Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems Plan and execute technological changes effectively considering the business output requirements and provide training if necessary Manage IT Licensing requirements Monitor and maintain IT assets and information security Managing IT budgets, forecast and enforcing cost-effectiveness Ensure delivery of hardware, software and all other IT equipment for business requirements in a timely manor Creation of executive reports and adhoc reports as required Manage all aspects of systems maintenance including: software upgrades, end user support, mobile device management, troubleshooting, auditing systems and problem-solving. Enforce and maintain IT policies & best practices Participate in the Security Working Group, Maintain security monitoring and act upon identified risks. Manage privileged access to assets under control. Assuring that IT activities are in compliance with security standards such as ISO 27001 and SOC2 and within the limits of applicable laws, codes and regulations Testing, troubleshooting and adjusting information systems to operate effectively Operating effective IT Change Management procedures WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
