Responsibilities Measure, cut, and fit carpets and vinyl flooring to precise specifications. Install Polysafe flooring using appropriate welding techniques to ensure a seamless finish. Inspect subfloors and prepare surfaces for installation. Collaborate with clients and project managers to understand their requirements and expectations. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and adhere to safety protocols. Provide guidance and advice to clients on flooring care and maintenance. Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in flooring installation. Requirements Proven experience as a floor fitter, specifically with carpet and vinyl flooring. Knowledge of Polysafe welding techniques and installations. Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills to interact with clients and team members. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials safely. Qualification or certification in flooring installation is preferred.
