Senior Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Scientist
Talentmark are recruiting for a Senior Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Scientist to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry on a contract basis for 9 months.
Salary:
£75 – £90 per hour (Outside IR35)
Senior Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Scientist Role:
1. Develop and implement patient-centred, fit-for-purpose measurement strategies across the drug development lifecycle
2. Collaborate with global study teams, lifecycle teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to integrate patient-focused outcomes into clinical development
3. Support study start-up, monitoring, and close-out activities related to clinical outcome assessments (COAs)
4. Lead or contribute to the implementation of electronic COAs (eCOA), including user acceptance testing, linguistic validation, and file specification reviews
5. Assess and drive the development or deployment of new measurement tools to capture patient experience effectively
6. Provide subject matter expertise in areas such as digital measurement strategy, eCOA, linguistic validation, and patient/site engagement
7. Work closely with data science and operational teams to ensure high-quality patient-centred evidence generation
Your Background:
8. MSc in Public Health, Psychology, or a related discipline (PhD preferred)
9. At least 3 years’ experience developing and implementing patient-centred measurement strategies within pharma or consultancy
10. Strong understanding of clinical outcome assessments (COAs), including electronic formats (eCOA)
11. Experience in clinical trial environments, including study execution and evidence generation
12. Knowledge of linguistic validation processes and digital measurement approaches
