Job Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Demand Planner to join our Procurement team. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts and optimising inventory levels to support business needs and customer fulfilment.
The successful candidate will manage forecasting and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to improve forecast accuracy, ensure product availability, and drive continuous improvement across supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the forecasting process by gathering inputs from relevant stakeholders, ensuring data accuracy and alignment on assumptions
2. Maintain and refresh forecasts on an agreed schedule
3. Manage the MRP process to identify replenishment requirements, mitigate stock shortages, and optimise inventory levels
4. Maintain and update MRP parameters, including supplier lead times, forecasts, and stock thresholds
