We are looking for a Treatment Manager to join us at to join our new male Category C, rehabilitation Prison, HMP Fosse Way situated in Leicester.
Joining our fantastic Psychological Services Team, you'll play a vital role in delivering Offender Behaviour Programmes to residents, which are a key part of rehabilitation.
Managing a number of Interventions Facilitators, you'll be responsible for all treatment-related aspects of the programmes, ensuring treatment quality and integrity in line with clinical requirements. This will involve assessing participants and selecting the appropriate programme for them, as well as making sure that we meet all operational performance targets.
Some of the key accountabilities of the Treatment Manager are as follows:
* To ensure treatment quality and integrity of offending behaviour programmes delivered at HMP Fosse Way.
* To ensure the appropriate selection and assessment of prisoners.
* To ensure that delivery of programmes comply with the clinical requirement outlined in management manuals.
* To attend and pass all required or relevant training to aid development and support business needs, including Treatment Manager training.
* To continue to work towards personal development within the five core competencies

* To develop competence within the areas outlined as Treatment Management competency criteria:
1. Demonstrate awareness of treatment-related responsibilities and evidence ability to plan for and organise all treatment-related aspects of the programme
2. Demonstrate understanding and application of assessment and selection processes, provision of treatment and reporting of progress for the programme
3. Demonstrate ability to develop and manage facilitators effectively
* To work with the Programmes Manager to develop the Programmes Department at HMP Fosse Way including meeting Key Performance Targets and both clinical and operational audits, where relevant.
* To work with all other relevant departments within HMP Fosse Way appropriately and in line with both the needs of the programmes department and other departments such as safer custody, healthcare, mental health etc.
* To ensure that all line management responsibilities are adhered to in-line with HMP Fosse Way and Serco MyHR policies practices and procedures under the mentorship of the Programmes Manager.
What you will need to do the role
Qualifications:
* Trained to deliver specific Offending Behaviour Programmes.
Experience
* Experience of delivering accredited interventions e.g. TSP / RESOLVE / BBR or similar/equivalent

What else do I need to know
* This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, and all offers of employment are subject to security clearance checks, and satisfactory employment references. You'll be required to provide 5 years of employment and education history as part of these checks.
* This role is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship under current UK Home Office rules, as it does not meet the required salary or skill level criteria. Whilst we encourage applications to other roles, candidates who already have a valid right to work in the UK through other immigration routes or permissions must meet the below minimum eligibility criteria:
* Have at least two years remaining on your current visa to ensure sufficient time in the role.
* Have lived in the UK for at least one year, as the vetting process requires a counter-signatory from a recognised professional who has known you for that duration.
