Job Description: Primary Supply Teacher Location: Stockport area Contract: Full-time and part-time, temporary and long-term opportunities available Premier Education is seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Supply Teachers to work across schools in the Stockport area. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers, early career teachers, or those seeking flexible work to fit around other commitments. We can offer a variety of placements including day-to-day cover, short-term roles, and long-term opportunities within Key Stages 1 and 2. Key responsibilities: * Deliver engaging and effective lessons across the primary curriculum. * Follow school policies and ensure a positive learning environment. * Adapt to different school settings and year groups with confidence. * Support pupils with their learning and provide guidance where needed. * Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school procedures. * Liaise with school staff to ensure a smooth handover of lessons. Requirements: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. * Experience teaching within primary schools (KS1 and/or KS2). * Strong classroom management and communication skills. * A flexible and proactive approach to supply teaching. * A passion for education and making a positive impact on children’s learning. * An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one). Pay: £120 – £140 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications). Up to £223 per day for long term roles.
