Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Dental Nurse to join our Outpatient team at Homerton. This role would suit a qualified dental nurse with previous experience in either theatres or a dental practice setting, who is passionate about delivering safe and high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
* Managerially accountable to the Outpatient Charge Nurse and line-managed by the Team Leader.
* Professionally linked to the Maxillofacial (Max Fax) team, including supporting the assessment and monitoring of clinical competencies.
* In addition to supporting the Max Fax/dental clinics, assist the wider Outpatient team during audit days, clinic cancellations, and other service needs.
* Provide chair/trolley side and first support assistance to the respective consultants in Maxillofacial/Oral/Theatres and their teams.
* Assist and maintain high quality efficient and effective care of post-operative patients.
* Work as part of a team to maintain a clean and safe theatre environment for patients and staff.
* Participate in the development of self and others.
