Responsibilities
Enhance our current cancer nurse specialist service, providing expert support and nurse / practitioner led interventions for Urology Oncology patients.
Work closely with other Urology nurse specialists and allied health professionals, oncology teams, Urologists and Oncologists to provide seamless supportive care for patients with primary and metastatic urology cancers.
Your job plan includes attendance at Multidisciplinary meetings, nurse-led clinics (including SACT prescribing), supporting inpatients and those attending Consultant appointments, and arranging onward referrals and investigations as appropriate.
As an integral member of our friendly multi-professional urology team, influence clinical practice and provide a consultative, leadership and educational role to professional colleagues.
Benefits
Effective from 1 April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part-time hours will be adjusted on a pro‑rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure pay remains unaffected.
