Salary: £35,000 - 35,000 per year Requirements:
* We are seeking a candidate who holds a relevant degree in a technology discipline, such as Computer Science or Information Technology. Ideally, you will also have ISTQB or ISEB certification. You should possess knowledge of automated testing, though proficiency in manual performance testing is essential. Experience with automation frameworks like Ranorex and Playwright is advantageous. Additionally, you must be capable of preparing and executing test plans and scripts, and have an up-to-date understanding of QA testing compliance standards and software development methodologies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills at all levels are also required.
* Due to the sensitive nature of our services, we need candidates who have been a UK resident for three consecutive years prior to employment and can provide proof of address for the last five years. Security vetting is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
* As a Test Analyst on our team, you will perform testing across our software product suite, which includes preparing and delivering test plans and scripts that meet our company quality standards. Your responsibilities will also involve conducting functional and regression testing, alongside a mixture of manual and automated performance-based testing.
* You will build, run, and maintain automation scripts, utilize bug tracking tools to identify and resolve any defects or configuration issues, and ensure that escalated issues are reported to the Software Testing Manager. Furthermore, you will extract test reports and analyze findings to share with the Software Testing Manager.
* You will be tasked with testing new software to guarantee compliance with functional and technical requirements. Part of your role will also involve reviewing test documentation created by team members and regularly consulting with key stakeholders and senior management to provide updates on testing progress, results, and any potential issues.
* Additionally, you will offer insights into the test methodologies adopted for various projects, recommend new strategies, and monitor efficiency across all tasks. You will also perform system upgrades and configuration testing, ensuring that release notes are correctly documented.
