School of Applied Sciences – Lecturer in Medicinal Chemistry (Permanent, 1.0 FTE)
Salary: £40,266 – £45,147 per annum.
We are seeking an experienced Lecturer in Medicinal Chemistry to teach and develop undergraduate courses within the School of Pharmacy, University of Huddersfield.
Key responsibilities
* Teach key principles of inorganic and organic chemistry to undergraduate pharmacy students.
* Lead delivery of modules, associated practicals and assessment strategies.
* Provide personal tutoring and support student recruitment.
* Contribute to curriculum design and continuous improvement of teaching.
Qualifications and experience
* PhD in Medicinal Chemistry or related field.
* Strong teaching experience at undergraduate level.
* Proposed research programme in Medicinal Chemistry with synthetic and/or computational focus.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
