Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible to support the production and powder coating team in the main UK manufacturing site.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
1) Responsible for loading and unloading metal from and to trolleys.
2)Loading pre-treatment washing machine.
3) Hanging metal on jigs.
4)Powder coating aluminium.
5) Loading and unloading the box oven.
6) Applying protection tape to finished goods.
7) Check the quality of all parts.
8) Support other factory cells with labour and production of parts.
9) Ensure that you work in accordance with 5S principles to ensure that your work area is clean, tidy, organised and controlled.
10) The BOS (Business Operating System) will be an important part of the role. At the heart of this system is to improve performance, efficiency and quality using tools such as standard work, 5s and Kaizen.
Essential Criteria
1) Experience working as a powder coater within a fast-paced production environment.
2) Strong awareness health & safety procedures such as manual handling.
3) Good team player with the ability to work on own initiative when required.
4) Excellent attention to detail with high quality standards
5)Reliable and hardworking ‘can do’ approach.
6)Enjoys a fast-paced environment
7)Good verbal/written communication skills, able to build strong working relationships.
8)Good interpersonal skills, self-motivated, flexible and committed attitude.

Hours: 39 hours per week
(Monday to Thursday 07:30 – 16:00, Friday 07:30 to 15:00)
Holidays: 33 days
