What you'll be doing
As Junior Marketing Designer, you will play a key role in designing assets and providing creative input for a diverse range of content. You will have the chance to develop your design skills across print, digital, written content, and photography.
This valued, design-driven role supports the Marketing Designer and reports into the Campaign Manager within the marketing team. Working within a collaborative team, the successful candidate will need to be a team-player. You will receive guidance and mentorship from the wider marketing and design team and will have the opportunity to contribute to creative decisions within these teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior Creative or Designer with 1-2 years’ experience, to work within a small, close-knit marketing team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create mailshot materials and adverts (print and digital)
* Maintain marketing and advertising materials (such as brochures, exhibition stands etc.)
* Create assets for the company’s social media profiles on LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and Twitter
* Create other engaging content (such as infographics, presentations, merchandise etc.)
* Assist with photograph and video production.
* Support with event preparation and attend trade shows
* Assist Marketing Executive with organising marketing materials, corporate merchandise, etc.
* Assist with distributor support, e.g. event design requirements
* Assist with any digital marketing as required
What experience you'll need to apply
* Experience working in a Graphic Design role or related field.
* A qualification in Graphic Design or related field.
* Good working knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop.
* The ability to work within brand guidelines, maintain brand consistency and visually appealing quality across all projects.
* Experience in typography and composition, with a good understanding of how to adapt for print and digital platforms
* Understanding of print and digital processes is desirable
* Some experience in photography, video, and animation is desirable
* An interest in social media, video production, event marketing, engineering & technology is desirable
* Creative thinking and a keen eye for detail

This is an on-site role, working in a modern office space in Dorchester. The newly refurbished site includes a dedicated marketing office, an events space, a studio for photography and videography, as well a light, open communal kitchen and a lovely garden area.
This is role is offered on a 4-day per week basis (Monday-Thursday), either full time (35 hours) compressed over those days, or part time (30 hours).
