Ships Industrial Painters (027jc) – Scotland Wide – Starting at £19.77 per hourMy client who are a successful and expanding ships maintenance company are now seeking to recruit additional Industrial painters to join their teams in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Greenock and Troon in their own dry docks. All their work is shore based.DUE TO THE NATURE OF THIS RECRUITMENT CONSULTANCY, WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO REPRESENT INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE EX MILITARY.Due to continued growth, expansion, and long-term contracts they are looking to add to their skilled team at their dry docks at the locations above in their engineering, and fabrication facilities across Scotland.Career advancement, good working conditions and competitive rates of pay, are offered along with additional overtime, and weekend working. A great opportunity to progress your career in a fast paced and diverse industry with this fulltime position.To be eligible for this role you will need the following:•Be able to work in a busy and challenging repair shipyard/ dry dock environment.•Be available to work extended shifts with weekday overtime and weekend working at premium rates of pay, above the yard’s normal 39 hour working week•Be willing to travel and carry out similar tasks at other yards operated by the company or to remote locations dictated by the customer•Have a positive attitude towards health and safety requirements.•Hold a valid UK driving licence•Have the right to work in the UK•Have good written and spoken EnglishIn return they are offering a good hourly rate, which starts at £19.77 per hour, and then can increase with experience to £25.14 as a foreman, as well as 34 days holiday per year with 5 of these allocated over the Christmas and New Year period, Private medical with additional dental and optical plans, Company pension, Life insurance and Company income protection scheme.
