CLASS 2 HIAB DRIVER Monday to Friday 6:30am – 4.00pm £16.00 per hour People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Hiab Driver to join our well-established client based in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress. To be considered for this role you ideally need to have a valid grab HIAB licence, however training can be given for the right candidate. Benefits As a Class 2 Hiab Driver you will receive the following benefits: Excellent hourly rates Opportunity to go permanent Weekly pay Training provided Immediate starts Car park on site Day to Day Duties: Your duties as a Class 2 Hiab Driver will involve but not be limited to: Delivering scaffolding and building materials to construction sites Operate and drive various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations Operating a HIAB/lorry-mounted crane safely and efficiently Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly Adhere to traffic laws and regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed Essential Skills: As a Class 2 Hiab Driver you will need to: Must be able to work as a team Have a valid grab HIAB licence No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes Hold a valid UK Category C Licence Hold a valid UK CPC and UK digital tachograph card Must be able to speak and read a good level of English Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills Desirable Experience: Experience driving any commercial vehicles Previous experience with multi drop experience will be beneficial but not essential Training Training will be provided and ongoing support throughout Contact: If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity, apply today by clicking the link below or get in touch with our recruitment team to find out more.
