The role of Local Service Manager will include:
1. Leading the overall delivery of the service, through the management of the team and liaison with the Area Service Manager
2. Developing and maintaining relationships with customers and relevant external agencies, liaising effectively with statutory and voluntary partners
3. Overseeing the overall delivery of the housing management of the property
4. Delivering contract KPI’s
5. Overseeing the service’s financial performance and managing the budget to maximise income
6. Managing the recruitment, performance management and development of staff
7. Flexibility around working hours is expected in accordance with the needs of the service
8. Responsibility for health and safety in the service
Skills and experiences:
9. Previous experience of working in a managerial role within a similar service, you will be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal, leadership and problem solving skills
10. Previous experience of working in a CQC regulated environment is preferable
11. Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
12. Compassionate, caring and hard working with a hands-on approach to care management
13. You will have experience of working in a personalised way supporting customers to maximise opportunities for personal development
14. Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support
15. Proven ability to liaise effectively with statutory and voluntary partners
16. Good information technology skills with a working knowledge of MS Teams, Word & Excel. Training will be provided for additional computer systems in use
17. Travel is a requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is essential
