About The Role:
Shift Pattern:5 in 7 days - variable
Please note: This is a temporary position
Key responsibilities include:
* Creating seasonal food and drink menus for the site and events
* Overseeing all staff, including kitchen assistants, chefs, and servers, ensuring compliance with client needs and legal requirements
* Training team members on menus, serving procedures, etiquette, safety standards, and regulations
* Planning catering operations within budgets, managing food, equipment, staffing, and supplies
* Establishing relationships with vendors to ensure best prices and quality
What we are looking for:
* Experience managing Contract Catering operations and teams
* Level 2 in Catering and Hospitality or equivalent, with unit management experience
* Proven leadership skills to motivate and mentor chefs
* Experience building relationships with clients and staff
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes
Candidate criteria:
* Right to work in the UK
* Willingness to undergo DBS or Security checks
* NVQ Level 3 or higher in Hospitality is advantageous
* Management experience in contract catering
* Excellent customer service skills
* Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
* Food hygiene Level 2 certificate is beneficial
