This role entails joining the technical team and assuming a pivotal role in the Mechanical Design of high-end and technically advanced products. Your Responsibilities As A Mechanical Design Engineer Will Encompass Various Duties. You will be tasked with designing products from the initial concept stage through to the final design, ensuring manufacturability. You will be instrumental in helping improving design processes and documentation across the business. Perform engineering calculations and, when necessary, furnishing comprehensive supporting documentation alongside thorough testing of designs. You will be responsible for creating 3D CAD drawings utilizing tools like SolidWorks. While supporting the New Product Introduction process by liaising closely with manufacturing. Play a key role in the Design for Manufacture (DFM) process. Ensuring the precise selection of materials and producing cost-effective designs that meet both client and regulatory requirements. Provide essential documentation such as bills of materials and supporting project management activities for new and existing products. Qualifications Required For This Mechanical Design Engineer Job. Candidates for this position should hold a degree (or above) /HND/HNC qualification in Engineering or a related Mechanical Design subject.
