Full Time position: Monday – Friday with core hours being 9am till 5pm

An exciting opportunity has now arisen within the Ross-on-Wye Agency.
About the role:
The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers by reviewing policies at renewal stage and managing accounts on a day to day basis, including processing changes to commercial, personal and motor insurance policies. The right candidate will handle incoming enquiries from a diverse client base, while identifying, developing and generating General Insurance, Financial Services and Risk Management leads from both new and existing customers to meet agreed targets and support NFU Mutual’s reputation. The role also includes cross selling financial lines policies, cover enhancements and Risk Management Services, alongside completing report writing, data preparation and document publishing tasks.
About you:
You will be a self‑motivated and enthusiastic individual with a strong willingness to learn, demonstrating excellent negotiation, relationship‑building, and communication skills both on the telephone and face to face. With a people‑orientated approach, you will work effectively as part of a team while also using your own initiative, judgement and problem‑solving abilities. You will have excellent time management and organisational skills and consistently demonstrate honesty, integrity, due skill, care and diligence in your work. Previous experience within the insurance industry and knowledge of the agricultural sector are desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
You will hold a minimum of five GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades A–C (grade 4 and above), including Maths and English, be proficient in Microsoft Office, and possess a full UK driving licence. All individual qualifications should be clearly stated within your application.
