We are inviting a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our busy Diagnostic Endoscopy Unit. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred care across a range of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. The role offers opportunities to develop specialist skills in endoscopy, sedation management, infection prevention and decontamination practices. We are committed to supporting nurses in achieving JAG and GRS standards.
Main duties of the job
Key responsibilities include:
* Provide nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
* Assist in the management of sedation and monitoring of patients throughout interventions.
* Plan and coordinate patient care from admission to discharge.
* Work within a multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomes.
* Ensure compliance with infection prevention and decontamination protocols.
* Participate in continuous professional development, including training courses and leadership opportunities.
* Support the development of advanced endoscopic skills, including non‑medical endoscopist pathways.
* Contribute to service improvement initiatives and quality assurance activities.

Person specification
General requirements:
* Registered Nurse in the UK with relevant clinical experience.
* Demonstrated ability to work in a fast‑paced diagnostic endoscopy setting.
