OLG Recruitment is currently seeking a Maintenance Coordinator for a client based in Wakefield. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Job Purpose
Work as part of the Maintenance team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of a top-tier COMAH site. Maintain and improve processes in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and relevant standards.
Identify and report problems; assist in continuous improvement initiatives. Be flexible in duties as per business needs. Responsible for the daily execution of work scope safely, to engineering quality standards, and project schedules.
Responsibilities
* Plan maintenance work schedules and update weekly maintenance plans.
* Prepare weekly maintenance KPIs and reports.
* Attend daily and weekly scheduled meetings.
* Liaise with the Maintenance team leader.
* Understand work scope and logistics planning.
* Implement system improvements for reliability, such as addressing plant Bad Actors.
* Work with Stores Personnel and engineers to identify critical spare parts.
* Improve procedures and systems for maintenance.
* Coordinate contractor requirements and prerequisites.
* Develop and improve Emaint system.
* Process purchase orders for the purchasing department.
* Handle general account queries, such as invoice discrepancies on the EUK system.
Scanning Duties
Scan maintenance job sheets with updated information and attachments, including certificates, reports, and contractor documentation.
Safety, Health & Environment
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, health, welfare, and environmental regulations. Deliver toolbox talks and participate in safety audits. Ensure method statements and permits are in place before work begins. Promote safety and good conduct among personnel.
Support departmental and organizational objectives through effective communication and teamwork. Engage in personal development, manage workload effectively, and report concerns promptly. Ensure internal processes and procedures are followed, and seek feedback for continuous improvement. Support colleagues and acknowledge mistakes openly.
