A brilliant opportunity has arisen for three Paralegals to join our busy Debt team, based in either our Newcastle or Leeds office. The role is to support the team with a growing debt recovery client base, experience of secured work is desirable.
What will I be doing
* Negotiating payments and settlements
* Assisting in issuing court proceedings, enforcements, bankruptcy and winding up petitions
* Maintaining regular telephone contact with courts, solicitor firms and other externals is a fundamental part of the role
* Support the team with document management, filing client matter records and assisting fee earners with any other matters
You'll have
* Previous experience of secured debt recovery work (desirable)
* A good level of IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office productsand case management systems
* The ability to work on your own initiative and as a member of a team
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent telephone and client service skills
* Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload and to meet deadlines
