Overview
St Austell Brewery is recruiting for an IT Support Technician to join the internal IT team. This hands-on role is responsible for the initial assessment, triage, research, and resolution of IT incidents, plus deploying, maintaining, and repairing the IT services within the wider group.
Responsibilities
* Proactively manage hardware and software installs at multiple locations across the St Austell Brewery group.
* Work with internal teams to resolve issues with St Austell Brewery IT services.
* Troubleshoot IT technical issues and resolve in a professional and timely manner.
* Administer computer networks and related computing environments, ensuring they are patched, upgraded and installed in accordance with life cycle management schedules.
* Provide a positive end-to-end customer experience and act as a single point of contact for customers.
* Monitor and maintain email applications, virus protection software, web filtering and monitoring appliances, and firewall profiles.
* Develop knowledge of current software and hardware products to resolve requests on first contact.
* Provide after-hours and weekend on-call support as needed.
