We are currently looking for a Lead Backend Developer to join a project with one of our end clients in Poland.
Start: ASAP
Duration: 12 months
Location: Remote with flexibility to be onsite in Warsaw, Poland
Languages: English and Polish speaking

Role Overview
You will act as a Tech Lead, with a strong focus on backend development for web applications built by the clients engineering team. You are expected to have hands-on experience with most of the following technologies:
1. Backend Language: Java
2. Framework: Spring Boot
3. Relational Database: PostgreSQL
4. NoSQL Database: MongoDB
5. Event Streaming: Confluent Kafka, Kafka Streams
6. Containerization: Docker
7. Orchestration: Kubernetes
8. CI/CD: Azure DevOps
9. Identity Management: Keycloak
Responsibilities & Expectations
We are looking for someone who will:
10. Lead by example through hands-on development and high-quality code
11. Mentor and support junior developers
12. Define technical direction and ensure consistency across backend services
13. Review designs and pull requests against architectural standards
14. Challenge assumptions and drive pragmatic, data-driven decisions
15. Translate complex business requirements into robust backend solutions
16. Promote automation, observability, and CI/CD best practices
17. Collaborate across teams to enable interoperability and reuse
