Fast Fit Technician / MOT Tester
1. Location: Derby
2. Salary: £39,000 basic + £250 per month bonus (OTE £42,000)
3. Hours: 44 hours per week, 5-day working week (includes Saturdays)
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fast Fit Technician / MOT Tester to join a busy and well-established automotive workshop in Derby.
This is a fast-paced, customer-focused environment where you’ll be carrying out MOT testing alongside basic servicing and light mechanical work. This position offers strong earning potential, stable hours, and a consistent 5-day working pattern.

Key Responsibilities as a Fast Fit Technician / MOT Tester will include:
11. Carry out MOT testing to DVSA standards
12. Perform basic servicing and maintenance work
13. Complete light mechanical repairs and inspections
14. Ensure all work is carried out safely and to a high standard
15. Maintain accurate documentation and job records
16. Work efficiently as part of a busy workshop team
17. Deliver a high level of customer service
Requirements that the Fast Fit Technician / MOT Tester will need:
18. MOT Tester licence (essential)
19. Level 3 qualification preferred, Level 2 with strong experience considered
20. Experience in a fast-fit or busy workshop environment
21. Competent in servicing and basic mechanical repairs
22. Strong attention to detail and quality of work
23. Able to work well within a team
24. Full UK driving licence required
