Please note that this is a part-time role working weekends only, both Saturdays and Sundays. Shifts are 8.30am - 6.30pm.

About You
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will help prepare and serve nutritious meals, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene. Your responsibilities include managing food supplies, maintaining fridge/freezer temperatures, training new starters, and cleaning. Resident wellbeing is your top priority.
We are looking for someone with kitchen experience, or willing to obtain an NVQ2 in Catering or Food Preparation. Good organizational skills, ability to follow recipes, and considerate communication are essential. Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility; you must recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and know how to report concerns. All colleagues will attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional training as needed.
