You’ll be joining our growing Engineering function. Our teams design and deliver the technology that powers Bauer’s products, platforms and customer experiences. You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, UX specialists and engineering leaders, becoming part of a collaborative, supportive, and ambitious group focused on building high‑quality digital solutions.

The difference you will make
As a Senior Delivery Manager, you will take ownership of a digital programmes from a standing start. You’ll bring clarity, structure and momentum to a multi‑discipline engineering environment, ensuring teams stay aligned, outcomes are delivered on time, and programmes remains on track.
You will act as the bridge between Product, Engineering and the wider business – turning product ambitions into a delivery plan that teams can execute confidently. In this role,your leadership will be critical to establishing delivery processes, coordinating dependencies, and enabling a confident, predictable delivery rhythm. Your role
You’ll lead the day‑to‑day delivery of a digital programmes, ensuring teams have clear goals, realistic forecasts, and the support needed to deliver high‑quality work.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Owning and maintaining delivery plans.
2. Working closely with Product and Engineering leadership to define priorities, capacity, and throughput expectations.
3. Providing day to day support and coaching to Business Analysts and Scrum Master.
4. Coordinating comms, change, testing and business readiness activities.
5. Identifying risks, dependencies and impediments – and driving clear mitigation plans.
6. Creating and maintaining programme‑level roadmaps, timelines and delivery insights.
7. Coaching delivery maturity, continuous improvement and strong collaboration across squads.
The skills you will bring
Required:
8. Hands‑on delivery management experience within digital development environments.
9. Proven track record delivering 2–3 substantial end‑to‑end digital initiatives.
10. Deep experience with Agile, sprint‑based methodologies and modern delivery frameworks.
11. Ability to bring clarity and structure to ambiguous, early‑stage programmes.
12. Strong forecasting, estimation and planning capability.
13. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
14. Experience collaborating directly with engineering teams (not through layers).
Desired:
15. Experience in media, audio, or streaming environments.
16. Comfortable using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) at an advanced level.
Working pattern / location
Full time permanent position. Hybrid role based in Manchester. You’ll typically come into the office a couple of times per week to collaborate with your team.
