Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, driving impactful results for clients through expertise in consulting, data analytics, digital marketing, and economics. VCA addresses strategic challenges faced by clients.
Role Overview:
Reporting to the UKI VCA Lead, the Managing Consultant will lead consulting engagements for Visa clients in the UK & Ireland, focusing on portfolio growth and profitability in credit and debit card businesses.
Potential projects include portfolio diagnostics, digital marketing strategy assessments, industry landscape evaluations, and customer experience optimization.
The managing consultant will collaborate with VCA and Visa Europe teams, leveraging deep domain knowledge to provide strategic recommendations and foster enduring client relationships.
* Identify and propose opportunities for client projects.
* Design innovative performance solutions tailored to client needs.
* Manage client projects from planning to report delivery.
* Handle specific client accounts.
* Bring expertise in portfolio strategy, diagnostics, and loyalty program assessments.
* Develop and maintain models, contribute to IP, and standard offerings.
* Brief analytics teams on projects like segmentation and propensity modeling.
* Define project scope and understand client objectives.
* Analyze inputs including data, interviews, and policies.
* Synthesize findings to identify gaps and opportunities.
* Recommend strategies and support implementation.
* Lead meetings and workshops to facilitate problem-solving and knowledge transfer.
* Coordinate with internal teams to align opportunities and recommendations.
* Provide knowledge sharing, coaching, and training as a subject matter expert.
This is a hybrid role; in-office days will be confirmed by your manager.
Qualifications

* Proven experience in payments or consulting related to payments.
* Background in strategy or management consulting with successful project delivery.
* Experience managing and shaping consulting practices.

* Excellent client relationship management skills, including with senior executives.
* Sales-oriented with experience pitching projects to senior management.
* Ability to extract insights from data and communicate complex information effectively.

* Digital savviness and understanding of consumer behavior.
* Curiosity and willingness to learn.
* Ability to travel as needed.
