Multi-Trade Operative

Our client is looking for an experienced Multi Trade Operative for a permanent role in Blackpool and the surrounding areas. Experience in social housing maintenance is desired but not essential. Candidates will be multi skilled and be joinery or plumbing bias.
Starting salary is £34,067 with an additional £4k OTE.
The Job and duties of Multi-trade operative:
- First and second fix plumbing.
- Repair/ renew ceiling and floor joists, stairs, studding, partition walls, T and G or sheet flooring.
- Repair/ renew doors and door casing, skirting, handrails, balustrades, pipe boards and ducting panelling.
- Patch Plastering. Installation of a shower tray.
- Tiling of walls.
- Installation of a bathroom suite including WC, WHB and Mixer showers.
- Painting and decoration to a decent standard.
- Radiator installation including draining down and re-filling systems
Requirements and skills needed for the Multi Skilled Operative role:
- Must have completed a recognised Apprenticeship and qualification (NVQ L2/L3).
- Experience of working as a Multi Trade Joiner/Plumber and the installation of wet rooms & Disabled adaptions.
- Competent in all aspects of the Joiner and/or Plumbing trade discipline.
- Plastering trade discipline (desirable).
- Ability to carry out multi skill trades, and core joinery or plumbing and experience working within a social housing environment (desirable).
- Driving licence is essential.
- Skilled workers will hold a CSCS card, have asbestos awareness and have own tools.
Van and fuel card provided.
