Nursery Assistants Required!
Location: Runcorn (WA7)
Pay Rate: £89.44 - £100 dependant on experience
Contract Type: Temporary/Flexible Part-time and Full-time shifts available

A friendly and well-established nursery in the WA7 area of Runcorn is seeking a Nursery Assistant to support the care and development of children aged 0–5. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with young children and creating a positive, nurturing environment.
What are Teaching Personnel looking for?
Qualifications:
A Level 2 qualification in Early Years (or working towards one) is desirable but not essential.
Experience:
Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting is preferred.
A solid understanding of the EYFS framework is beneficial.
Skills and Qualities:
A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with children.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A willingness to learn and develop professionally.
The ability to build warm, supportive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
Support daily care routines including meal times, play, and rest periods.
Assist in the planning and delivering engaging daily activities.
Help to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
Work alongside qualified practitioners to observe and support children’s development.
Promote positive behaviour and wellbeing throughout the day.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
