Level 2 Practitioner / Nursery Assistant Location: Lightwater, Surrey Salary: £23,000 to £25,000 per annum Type: Full time We are recruiting for a Level 2 Practitioner / Nursery Assistant to join a well-regarded early years setting in Lightwater. Key responsibilities: Support the delivery of high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS. Help create a safe, warm and stimulating environment for children. Assist with activities that support children’s learning, development and wellbeing. Contribute to observations, routines and children’s day-to-day care. Build positive relationships with parents, carers and colleagues. Promote safeguarding, health and safety, and best practice across the setting. Work collaboratively as part of the wider nursery team. Requirements: Full and relevant Level 2 Early Years qualification preferred, or previous experience as a nursery assistant. Previous nursery or childcare experience. Good understanding of safeguarding and early years practice. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Positive, caring and proactive approach.
