We are looking for a dedicated and adaptable Teaching Assistant with SEND experience to join a friendly two form entry primary school in Gravesend. This is a varied role where you will “float” across different year groups, providing targeted support to pupils with additional needs while also assisting teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons. The Ideal Candidate Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or Early Years Education
Experience supporting children and young people on a 1:1 and group basis
A nurturing and proactive approach to supporting learning and development
Strong communication and teamwork skills with teachers and other staff
An understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles
Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
