* Self employed = £18.40 p/h
Are you a term‑time worker, student or have time on your hands in the school holidays?
I have three fantastic PAs who make such a positive difference to me and I value them. However they all work fewer hours in the school holidays which means I have big gaps on my rota outside of term time and I am looking for the right person to join my team.
Are you kind, reliable, motivated and able to get stuck in?
I am a mid‑40's lady with energy‑limiting health conditions that affect my ability to live my life the way I choose. I am looking to add another PA to my existing team, the right PA support gives me back choice and freedom. Could you be a good match?
I am not made for watching TV all day. I love a good purposeful project, gardening, a cuppa with friends, being outside in nature, museums, crafts, volunteering and cooking. My morning shifts are about setting me up for the day: food prep, a shower, quick kitchen tidy and hobbies. Its important to me my home is clean and organised so domestic tasks are included.
Duties include:
* Medication prompting/administering
* Personal grooming
* Moving and handling
* Other relevant duties as required
* Administration
* Housekeeping
* Shopping
* Cooking
* Transportation
* Companionship
* Looking after pets
* Gardening
* Dressing / undressing
Shorter morning shifts are all about getting up and ready for the day.
* Making breakfast and drinks
* Tidying kitchen and emptying dishwasher
* Putting a wash on and/or putting clothes away
* Food prep such as chopping veggies or boiling eggs
* Shower help and hair wash (no toileting)
* Setting up hobbies e.g. putting sewing machine ready
* Unpacking food shop
The longer shifts are about assisting me to live my life both at home and out. This could be assisting me so that I can enjoy my hobbies, DIY or household projects or supporting me as I go shopping, visiting somewhere or someone, or attending a workshop. Sometimes a shift is just about me being a person and having the support available to potter around my home and pop into town.
I am a wheelchair user.
