Job Duties:
* Assist the lead teacher in planning and delivering engaging and interactive lessons
* Support students in their learning and development, providing one-to-one assistance when necessary
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and creativity
* Assist with classroom management and behaviour monitoring
* Help with the preparation of educational materials and resources
* Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving teaching practises
Required Qualifications:
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
* Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Experience:
Previous experience working in a classroom setting as a Teaching Assistant
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of child development and learning theories
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Creative and innovative thinking
Preferred Qualifications:
* First Aid certification
* Experience working with children with special educational needs
Working Conditions:
* Work in a school setting with children of various ages
* Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
* Potential for temporary role to become permanent

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
