We have an exciting opportunity to join our evolving planning team at East Cambridgeshire District Council as a Planning Performance and Monitoring Officer on a permanent basis.
We are seeking a professional, organised, and motivated individual with excellent communication and presentation skills.
In this role, you will lead the management of information held and produced by the Strategic Planning and Development Management section, relating to housebuilding, brownfield sites, planning applications, performance, and other planning subjects.
Experience in accurately managing and safely collecting, processing, and maintaining data within corporate and national data protection policies is required.
Educated to GCSE standard, you will have experience in storing, interrogating, analyzing, and reviewing data in a safe and accessible format, along with experience using GIS-based software to collect, store, and interrogate spatial data.
The successful candidate will be confident, self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. A formal GIS qualification (or willingness to work towards one) is required.
