Job Description
The key responsibilities of a Head of Finance include, but may not be limited to:
3. Lead and drive an optimistic culture in delivering the clients vibrant strategy and outcomes.
4. Create and maintain positive and effective relationships with partners and key stakeholders.
5. Guide and develop a proactive and professional team to ensure that Finance and Purchase Ledger delivery targets are achieved and effective systems, policies and training are developed and embedded across the organisation.
6. Lead and manage the delivery of all organisational financial reporting requirements including statutory accounts, VAT, Office of National Statistics and DCMS and production of monthly management accounts.
7. Lead the continuous development of management information including derivation and monitoring of KPI's and key accounting ratios and metrics.
8. To inspire colleagues by embodying the essence of the charity through improvements and developments.
The Successful Applicant
The successful a Head of Finance should possess:
9. Not For Profit and Charities background/ experience.
10. Business partner experience/ Managerial experience supporting financial and non-financial managers
11. Exceptional IT skills
12. The ability to form and maintain positive relationships with a wide spectrum of people.
13. Experience of developing as well as, implementing strategic planning with teams and leaders to deliver business objectives.
14. Experience managing resources (finance, equipment and people) and performance.
15. Experience with systems development.
16. Ability to commute to Salford.
