HR Advisor
This role supports SCMA in a 2‑year fixed term, ending 31st March 2028.
As HR Advisor you will be the first point of contact for managers requiring support, advice and guidance on all HR and employee‑related matters. You will provide proactive and experienced HR advice, contextualise policy, procedures and best practice, and deliver sound HR support across a range of low to high‑risk situations.
Key responsibilities
* Provide proactive, experienced HR advice, support and guidance across all employment policies and practices.
* Act as the first point of contact for managers on HR and employee related matters.
* Deliver sound HR advice by contextualising policy, procedures and best practice.
* Resolve conflict, act with discretion and professionalism, and seek solutions.
* Contribute to the ongoing development of the organisation’s HR function.
Qualifications and experience
* Extensive HR experience, comfortable dealing with a full range of employee matters.
* Up‑to‑date employment law knowledge.
* Proven ability to act with discretion and professionalism.
* Excellent communication, organisational and conflict resolution skills.
Compensation and working arrangements
Salary: £35,230 – £38,372 (pro‑rata for part‑time). The post is head‑office/home‑based with hybrid working at the Head Office in Stirling. Equipment will be provided.
